At least first dose COVID vaccination compulsory for students

Consolidated results not received so far at our end

 Consolidated results are not yet received from Anna University at our college. Hence, we are not in the position to address queries related to the results published for students in their student login at present. We do understand the anxiety of students to know the reason for discrepancies in the result. Let us hope it will be corrected in the next working day. We will post the results as soon as we receive the results.

Certain clarifications in results

 We are yet to receive the consolidated result from University. Meanwhile, we observed certain scenarios regarding results.

1. Results are being updated. 

2. Many students, particularly those students with arrears have claimed that they have written the exams without knowing whether they have appeared or not for the particualar exam. We have verified attendance sheet and dispatch of answer sheets, we find no particulars. Later when asked to submit the screen shot of the sent mail for the particular subject, they have admitted that they have not written the exam. So students are instructed to verify their sent mail before reporting the issue.

3. Students who have submitted late after the prescribed time, students who have not sent the hard copy, students who have failed to attach the annexure 1 with the answer sheet were marked absent.

4. Students who have sent to different mail id or incomplete mail id were also marked absent.

5. We found similarity from the students that those students who experienced login issue in previous appearance and those students who appeared for improvement, the results were not published as of now.

6. We are still looking for the consolidated result or link for downloading from web portal from Anna University. If received, it will be updated in the this blog.

7. Students are instructed to call over phone only during office hours only 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM in this regard. Any updates received will be posted in this blog

8. Students are instructed to call personally. Many students ask their parents to call to exam cell and any questions asked to parents regarding the examination , they are unable to answer which wastes time for both ours and parents.

Commencement of classes

 The classes will be started for the students for the students in physical mode as per the following schedule.

    For 3rd year - 1.9.21 onwards

    For Final year - 6.9.21 onwards

    For 2nd year - 16.9.21 onwards

The students are advised to follow the standard operating procedures and take the vaccination 

Consolidated Results - Not received at college end

Consolidated results were not received so far at our end. It is not available to download at the College web portal either. We will post the results once we receive it. Many students are calling regarding the discrepancies in the results. We are unable to answer for those discrepancy at this moment, as we didn't get the results.

IRTT is Govt Engineering College now!!

 Today,  our TN Govt have announced that IRTT will be converted into a Government Engineering College. Admissions to Engineering courses for this Academic year will be as Govt. college. We wish to share this happy news to all our students and parents.

Odd Semester classes for 2021-22 will commence from Aug 12, 2020

 The online classes for next semester starts from Aug 12, 2020. Students are instructed to get the time table from the respective class advisors. The representatives are instructed to create / update whatsapp group with the new subject staff.

Final phase of valuation have started

 Final phase of valuation is going on for all departments. Results are expected by this month end

Online Practical pattern

 Students except Project / Mini Project has to attend MCQ questions (15 questions), and write the Aim, procedure as instructed by the internal examiner. 

Lab exams are for only Apr/May 2021 exams & Special arrear exams

 Many students who got arrear / absent in Nov/Dec 2020 examinations are enquiring about their chance. This current lab exams is scheduled only for Apr/May 2021 subjects and special arrear subjects. However, the lateral entry students who joined in Nov/Dec 2020 are eligible for Nov/Dec 2020 subjects
