Guidelines for Supplementary Exams (Nov/Dec 2020) to be conducted in May/June 2021 (From the meeting conducted today - official announcement yet to come)
Do read and understand all 26 points given below.
1. All those who have registered for Nov/Dec 2020 Examinations are eligible to appear for this Supplementary Exams
2. Question paper will be for 100 marks in respective regulation question pattern. Duration is for 3 hours.
3. Time table for the supplementary exams will be released soon after the declaration of pending results.
4. The question paper will posted in the Google class room / Microsoft team / any other opensource and link will be shared on the day of the exam.
5. Students have to write the examination in the A4 paper only on both the sides limited to 30 pages (15 A4 paper) including the first page. The details of first page entries will be informed later.
6. Students must use only blue or black pen / refil to write the examinations.
7. Students are not allowed to type answer paper and also cut / copy & paste the text book / web images in the answer paper
8.Students should write their Register Number, Name of the Student and Subject Code on the top of each page.
9. Similarly, Students should write the Date of Examination, Page Number and Signature of the Student on the bottom of each page.
10. After completing the examination, the student should neatly scan (using any scanner app or scanner) the answer script and convert it as a PDF file with file name: Register Number-Subject_Code. Improper scanning / dark scanning is not allowed. Do follow the naming convention of the file name.
11. Do follow the points 8 to 10 above strictly, failing which the paper may not be considered for valuation.
12. The student may post scanned pdf copy of the answer sheets in Google class room / Microsoft team / or any other open source. The platform in which you need to upload the answer paper will be intimated in this blog before the commencement of supplementary exams
13. Certain time limit will be given to scan the answer scripts in page No. order and to upload the same. Late submission after the time limit will be considered as absent. The time limit will be intimated later.
14. The candidate has to dispatch his/her answer script in a cloth line cover only (not any other cover). Only one answer script is kept in one cloth line cover. You need to write Register no. and subject code of the examination on the top left corner of the cloth line cover.
15. The cloth line cover with only one answer script is to be sent to the Principal of our Institution only by Speed Post / Registered Post. Your answer script will not be accepted if it is sent through couriers (like professional / French /DTDC /ST etc) or through ordinary post. You are strictly informed to send the answer script only through Indian postal service - Speed post or Registered post alone.
16.Your answer scripts should be posted on the same day of examination for the fore-noon session and on the very next day for the afternoon session failing which it will be treated as absent.
17. The student has to retain the Indian postal proof for their speed post / Registered post for tracking and to produce before the authorities in case of dispute.
18. When we receive your answer scripts at our end, we will track online though the Speed post / Registered post tracking No. pasted on the cover, to confirm, whether you have posted on the same day for FN session and on next day for AN session. If it is not posted as per the guidelines, you will be treated as absent for the particular exam.
19. The exam timing is not yet officially announced by the University, yet in the meeting it was said that FN session may be between 9 AM to 12 PM and AN session may be between 2 PM to 5 PM.
20. Under any circumstances, Students or their parents / friends should not visit the Institution to hand over the answer script in person. It should be sent only though Speed post / Registered post. At our end, we need to maintain the data of Speed post / Registered post tracking No. pasted on the cover and the online tracking details downloaded from the Indian postal website.
21.Submitting more than one copy of the answer script for a particular subject will be considered as MALPRACTICE activity. Further, the students’ handwriting shall be verified with the existing handwriting available with the office of CoE and any mismatching will be considered as impersonation.
22.It is important to note that Student should send both soft and hard copy of the answer scripts. The soft copy submitted immediately after the exam and hard copy of the answer scripts received in a day or two, will be compared to find the exact match. if there is no exact match at any page, it will be treated as malpractice. We should receive both soft & hard copy to proceed for valuation.
23. Any subsequent update will be posted in this blog whenever we receive from University / Zonal office. Failing to note the updates in this blog cannot be claimed as an excuse.
24. Do follow the above 23 points strictly, any excuses will not be entertained and you will be treated absent as per the guidelines given by the University. All these points are from the discussion in the meeting today that was arranged by the University for Chief superintendents and Exam cell authorities. Yet we need to wait for the release of official guidelines.
25. Do inquire the speed post / Registered post timings in advance at your nearest post office / Head post office / Railway station post office to plan accordingly during examination. If you couldnt post on time at your nearest post office, you can post at head post office in your district headquarters (as they accept speed / Registered post till evening) or Railway post office (RMS) at your nearest Railway station.
26. Students can send their queries if any to your representative. We have a plan to conduct online representative meeting before the commencement of exams to explain and clear the doubts regarding the Supplementary exams
